In striving to equip staff from the NHS and partner organisations with the up to date information and knowledge needed to support the promotion of positive sexual health for all the Cumbria and Lancashire Sexual Health Networks acknowledge the importance of up to date service information.
Lancashire and Regional Community HIV Services can be found here. HIV medical services are generally provided through GUM services (see that section for information), social care may be available through Lancashire County Council; Blackpool Council and Blackburn with Darwen Council. The Voluntary sector supports low levels of need for people with or affected by HIV. Blackpool services are provided by the SHIVER project and by Body Positive Blackpool.

The Sexual Assault Referal Centre (SARC) is based at the SAFE Centre which is located within the grounds of Royal Preston Hospital and serves the whole of Lancashire and South Cumbria Constabulary areas.
