Training

The Cumbria and Lancashire Sexual Health Networks acknowledge the need to equip staff from the NHS and partner organisations with the skills and the knowledge needed to promote positive sexual health for all.

Using appropriate education and training providers we are committed to the development of local capacity through education and training across communities, organisations, and professional groups. We will also seek to integrate models of service and skill mix across the sectors with the goal of increasing public health capacity in the field of sexual health.

In line with this commitment this section provides information on conferences, seminars and training opportunities. It provides details of opportunities at a national, regional and local level.

The Network is also keen to identify training gaps or needs across all sectors to help inform Cumbria and Lancashire developments. If you or your colleagues would like to see training in a given area or around a specific topic please use the contacts section to forward any suggestions or comments.
